The Northern Story Begins:
In 2011, we started Northern Knots, a local clothing company based out of Katonah, New York. Like our father and grandfather before us, we knew that apparel and fashion would play a huge role in our lives at one point or another. As two college students, we sought a project that would allow us to explore our creative energy during long summers. On one of our frequent vacations along the east coast of New England, we were inspired to design clothing for "Beach Babies" like ourselves.
With John having graduated from a New England prep school and Mark having graduated from public school, we thought we could combine the two lifestyles and come out with a line of products that satisfied both tastes and our passion for the beach.
Our priority is to bring family and friends together through comfortable and laidback clothing. Our philosophy is simple; we believe that comfort is a quality that should never be taken lightly and here at Northern Knots, we promise to keep it chill. The east coast is a place of timeless moments and memories, and we hope you can enjoy them as much as we do.
